day 5

Wow , it is hard work. I managed two days , then a trip to the in-laws left me wandering if I aught to be taking my time and working my way into this diet. Thankfully I managed to catch a bit of youtube with tonya kay and Courtney Taylor, talking about 100% raw vegan, and the trick is to have your favorite foods stocked in the house for when you need them. Not to force it, its not worth it. I've always been a believer in eat what you want. Although its difficult sometimes to remember that, I tend to force other people not to eat what I dont want them to eat..
Sometimes I would go to put a piece of meat in my mouth, even as a child, and not be able to. Maybe its the vibration, the way in which the animal was slaughtered, who knows. But one thing is for sure, something stops me from eating that meat. And when it happens , I listen to my heart.

Thanks for being that sensitive to the life force, Danny. It sounds like your spiritual karma skyrockets when you don't consume dead animals. I mean, whose wouldn't? But you can feel it.

There are so many reasons for diet change, from socializing, to spirituality, to health, to politics. What matters most is knowing yourSelf and catering to that. If spirituality is the biggest impetus for your dietary choices, then perhaps a good motivator to include more raw consistently in your diet would be to start checking into the karma of living plants. Not eating "death" is one level of karma cleanliness, but eating LIFE is the magnification of those positive forces!

And if anyone wants to check out some new raw vegan videos, as well as previous ones mentioned above, http://youtube.com/purerenegade

What you are doing is important, Danny. Continue.

Thanks Creature, I somehow know when its not right to eat meat, The sensitivity comes with the territory, I'm a cancerian, and quite spiritually minded, I have been on off veggie all my life, and been trying to get off dairy for a few years now. Only recently since seeing your youtube info have I accomplished the courage and strength to try the raw vegan lifestyle I have been aiming for..

You can do it. I know it. In a way that is sustainable for you. High raw is a great goal, allowing you the flexibility to go out for that Thai vegan dinner on a work party or cast party nite and still identify the very next day with your high raw ideals.

I'm proud to know you are out there.
